From 15:00 to 15:12 on November 22, the "Changji-Guquan" UHV DC transmission project will be started on the high end of the 2nd pole.

Under the close watch of dozens of participating units, the voltage value on the main control room of Guquan Station began to climb from 500 kV to 550 kV, 700 kV, 900 kV, 1000 kV, 1050 kV and up to + 1100 kV. It refreshes the highest voltage level in the world at one stroke and achieves another milestone in China's power industry.

This is another "big" action after the bipolar low-end operation at the beginning of October. In the past two months, all the participants of Guquan Station devoted themselves to concentrating on the key stage, and successively completed the installation of equipment, converter and rheological installation and related electrical tests of the very 2 high-end valve hall.

From November 20 to 21, after 24 hours of continuous operation, two crucial test projects of converter flow "primary injection" and converter valve "low pressure pressure" were successfully completed, which ensured that the very high end converter system had the starting live condition. During the one-day and one-night experiment, the debugging team only rested for about five hours. Hungry at night, they eat a piece of bread; be too tired to support it, they take turns to rest for a while, with the floor as the bed and work clothes as mattress!

Early on the morning of Nov. 22 , the site immediately entered the power supply state. At 15:00 p.m., with the commander-in-chief of the main control room debugging, the open circuit test of the pole 2 Dual converter was unlocked, showing that the voltage value on the large screen was gradually increased from 500 kV to 1100 kV!!!

At the moment when the number is fixed, applause and joy are everywhere in the main control room, celebrating this important moment together! A project manager excitedly said, "Hello, 1100kV!"
